Method
Using the Truxor fitted with a grab bucket, sediment was selectively excavated from problem areas while avoiding unnecessary disturbance to established aquatic vegetation.
The desilting formed part of a broader maintenance programme to improve both the appearance and long-term health of the pond.
Outcome
The restored shoreline improved public presentation while increasing water capacity and reducing future maintenance requirements.
