A Truxor is a lightweight amphibious machine designed to work both on land and in water. Its modular attachment system allows a single machine to carry out vegetation management, dredging, excavation, debris removal and environmental maintenance.

No. Although Truxor machines are widely recognised for reed and aquatic weed cutting, they are designed as multi-purpose amphibious tool carriers. With the appropriate attachments they can also undertake desilting, dredging, ditch maintenance, habitat creation, debris removal, excavation, vegetation management, skimming, invasive species removal and many other aquatic maintenance tasks.

Truxor machines are used by a wide range of organisations including local authorities, drainage boards, fisheries, conservation organisations, wildlife trusts, water companies, golf courses, estates, contractors and private landowners responsible for managing watercourses and wetlands.

Truxors are designed to operate in locations that are often inaccessible to conventional machinery. They are commonly used on lakes, ponds, canals, rivers, reed beds, wetlands, reservoirs, drainage channels, flood storage areas and nature reserves.

Truxor machines are commonly used for reed cutting, aquatic weed harvesting, desilting, dredging, ditch maintenance, habitat creation, invasive species removal, flood management and general watercourse maintenance.

Yes. The low ground pressure and amphibious design minimise disturbance to soft ground and sensitive habitats, making Truxors well suited to conservation projects and protected environments. Truxors also use bio-degradable hydraulic oil (Panolin) and are built in line with the boat safety scheme (BSS) in the UK

There are many benefits to a Truxor over conventional machinery. Some of these benefits are: \- Truxor machines combine amphibious capability with an extensive range of interchangeable attachments, allowing one machine to perform many different tasks. \- Their low ground pressure, compact size and ability to work both on land and in water make them suitable for locations where larger machinery cannot safely operate. \- The low weight and compact size of a Truxor machine mean they can be loaded onto a trailer and transported to site using a normal 4x4 \- The Truxor does not need to be put on the water like a boat. It can be unloaded in a convenient location and be tracked to the site where it can climb in and out of the water without additional assistance

The UK is one of the oldest markets for Truxor machines. Truxors have been operating on UK waterways for around 25 years and there are currently over 100 machines operating in the UK. The Republic of Ireland is currently a much newer market where the utility of Truxor machines is becoming noticed

Over the 25 years of operations in the UK, Truxors have worked on some of the largest and most sensitive sites in the country. These include but are not limited to: \- Canals and Rivers - Every year Truxors maintain miles upon miles of canals, rivers and waterways across the country. Working alongside organisations such as The Canal and River Trust, The Environment Agency, Scottish Waterways, all the way down to local councils, smaller trusts and local waterway groups. \- Power Stations and other industrial sites - Whether it be during the construction phase or managing reserves after completion, Truxors have been utilised on Power Stations, Oil refineries and other heavy industrial sites from Fiddler's Ferry to Hinckley Point and Sizewell \- Nature Reserves - Truxors have become an important part of yearly reed bed and habitat management across the UK. With organisations such as the RSPB, Natural England, Natural Resources Wales, and dozens of other smaller local trusts and charities regularly using Truxor machines to carry out vital works

The T-Series consists of three models designed for different workloads and applications. The T20 offers an economical entry point for lighter maintenance work, the T30 provides increased versatility with a petrol engine, while the T50 is the most powerful model, featuring a 50 hp diesel engine capable of operating the full range of Truxor attachments under demanding conditions.

The most suitable model depends on the type of work, attachments required and expected workload. We are happy to discuss your application and recommend the most appropriate configuration.

Attachments are selected to suit each customer. Machines can be supplied with a single attachment or a complete package depending on operational requirements.

Yes. Our training draws upon many years of practical experience operating Truxor machines on UK waterways. Courses cover safe operation, best working practices, daily maintenance, attachment use and routine inspections. Training documentation and certification are provided upon completion.

No. Most operators become comfortable with the controls quickly, particularly when training is provided.

The quick coupling system to fit tools to the Truxor means that most attachments can be changed quickly, in only a few minutes, allowing a single machine to perform multiple tasks during the same working day. For example, it is incredibly common for operators to swap between a cutter, rake and grab bucket multiple times a day to carry out works. Other attachments such as the Digger arm take longer to change.

New machines are supplied with a 24-month warranty. We also provide ongoing technical support, maintenance advice and fault diagnosis for machines both within and outside warranty. Our team has decades of combined operational experience and works directly with the Truxor factory in Sweden to provide specialist support. We can also carry out regular servicing of your Truxor machine in order to keep it in optimum working condition

Yes. We provide servicing, fault diagnosis, repairs and refurbishment for Truxor machines. Whether the issue is routine maintenance or a more complex mechanical or hydraulic fault, we can advise on the most appropriate solution.

In many cases, yes. We regularly assess older machines and can advise on repairs, refurbishment and replacement parts where appropriate.

Yes. If you have the part number from your operator's handbook this will help speed up the process, although we can also assist in identifying the correct parts before ordering.

Occasionally. Availability varies throughout the year, so please contact us if you're interested in purchasing a used machine and we'll let you know if we're aware of any opportunities.

Purchasing a new machine provides the latest T-Series technology, manufacturer warranty, full training, known service history and the ability to configure the machine with the attachments best suited to your work. While used machines can offer value, availability is limited, specifications may not always match your requirements and machine history is never guaranteed

Yes. Additional attachments can be purchased at any time, allowing the machine to adapt as your operational requirements change.

Absolutely. The modular attachment system is one of the Truxor's greatest strengths, allowing a single machine to replace several specialist machines across different projects. While the T20 is limited to the number of tools in the range it can use, it can still perform many different tasks. Both the T30 and T50 can use all of the tools in the range
