Containment System
A temporary geotextile barrier was installed on unused land adjacent to the pond. Sediment was pumped directly behind the barrier where water could naturally drain away. Once sufficient drying had taken place, the containment membrane was removed and the remaining sediment was left to naturally green over within the client's land.
Project Outcome
The pond regained valuable water depth while the client avoided the expense of transporting large quantities of wet sediment away from site.
