Invasive Algae Removal at Dartford Fishery

Excessive floating algae had spread across large areas of the fishery, restricting open water, reducing visual appeal, and impacting angling activities during the summer months. The client required an efficient method of clearing the infestation while minimising disturbance to fish stocks and the surrounding habitat.

The Truxor was equipped with its skimmer attachment to collect floating algae directly from the water surface. Material was gathered and removed from the lake in a controlled manner, allowing large areas to be cleared quickly without the need for heavy machinery operating from the banks. The amphibious nature of the Truxor allowed work to be completed safely while maintaining access across the entire fishery.
